On the 5th of December, 2006 a workshop was organised, during which the results of the Museum's exhibits digitization and dissemination project were presented. The workshop was held at the the Department of Informatics and Telecommunication conference room. During the workshop, aspects of the project were presented including the collections digitized and the developed software; more generic issues were also addressed, such as the potential that the developed system can offer to museums, as well as future directions. The Vice Rector, prof. D. Assimakopoulos and the former Rector prof. M. Stathopoulos honored the workshop with their presence.
